Night audit

The hotel day
closes itself.

No more late-night audits at the front desk. Every night at 4:30, Bello closes the day, posts the room nights and tells you what needs a look.

  • Every night at 4:30

Room nights for every guest in house are added to their bills automatically.

  • No-shows handled

Guests who didn’t arrive are marked as no-shows and charged under your policy.

  • Cleaning planned

Stay-over rooms are added to tomorrow’s housekeeping list.

  • Odd things flagged

Free rooms that shouldn’t be, guests past check-out and big unpaid balances are pointed out.

  • A record of every day

Each audit is saved, so you can see what happened on any night.

  • You’re told in the morning

A short summary reaches the owner, ready with the morning report.

Mistakes caught overnight

A room at a zero rate, a guest whose stay ended yesterday, or a balance that has grown too big: the audit finds them while they’re still easy to fix, not at the end of the month.

Still in control

You can also close the day by hand. Cancelling a room night needs the right permission and a reason, and stays cancelled.

Questions? Answers.

Do I still need a night auditor?

Most hotels don’t. Bello does the routine work automatically and leaves only the exceptions for a person to look at.

What time does the night audit run?

At 4:30 every morning by default. You can also run it by hand.

How are no-shows charged?

Using the no-show policy you set, such as one night’s charge. It’s added to the booking automatically.
